Steve Oliver
Steve Oliver was trained by Master Rickson Gracie (9th Degree) & Marcello Rezende (4th Degree). He holds a Black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Steve has 16 years of experience in BJJ with a further 11 years of boxing experience. He also has a further 10 years of power lifting and 4 years wrestling experience.

- Silver medal at World Power Lifting Championship (Bali, Indonesia) in bench press, dead lift and squat in 1995
- 2nd in World Powerlifting Champion 1994
- Oceania Powerlifting Champion 1994
Steve still holds the NZ Junior record for deadlift at 292 kg at 90 kg bwt.
Family History
Steve's Father Don Oliver is famous in the world of weight lifting
He represented New Zealand at three Olympic and two Commonwealth Games in 1960s. (Winning Gold in Jamaica in 1966).
He went on to own 6 gyms in Auckland and Wellington and developed hi range of Don Oliver Fitness Equipment.
He passed away in 1996.
